Easy nail patterns – Checklist of the equipments

	a fine paintbrush – select a very thin one, maybe 2$ cost
	a good set of acrylic paints
	have a cotton balls in ample stock
	finger nail polish remover and acetone in bulk
	plastic sheet and paper (they will be dirty )

3 advices:

1. Have more paintbrushes

- some for drawing

- others for painting

- have one or two for line painting

- and minimum one for dotting

2. Acrylic paints

There are two types of aryclic paints. These are solvent base enamel and water based.

The water based acrylics are mainly used by artists. Be careful with artist’s acrylics beacause, it will peel off very soon.

3. Polish remover

There are many different types of nail polish removers in the market and different brands may have different chemical compositions. The principle ingredients are acetone, ethyl acetate or butyl acetate and alcohol.

These chemicals dehydrate the skin, cause irritation to eyes and make nails dry and brittle. They also have a distinct chemical smell and are highly flammable. To counter the dehydration and brittleness effects, many removers also contain conditioning ingredients like castor oil, cetyl palmitate or lanolin.

Checklist before start working

1. Choose a well ventilated place (open window in your room)
2. The space you choose, sit and experiment should be ready to bear spills.
3. Place the plastic sheet and the paper on your work station (on your table)
